Our most recent trip to the Cape landed us in Wellfleet at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. There are a multitude of trails here covering woods, salt marshes, freshwater ponds, the barrier beach and tidal flats. What a gem for the outdoor enthusiast/painter. I am off to Maine to visit a friend who owns an Island off of Booth Bay Harbor. I'll be sketching photographing and painting on site. Can't wait!
