This is a photograph that I took during my last visit to San Gimignano Italy. I printed the image on photo canvas and then painted over the image with oil paint leaving some of the photo untouched. This painting along with several of my most recent works can be viewed at The University Of Rhode Island Feinstein Providence Campus Gallery. The show is titled Abbondanza and runs from October 6th through October 31st. For more information regarding the gallery visit www.uri.edu/prov .

This is the first of many more to come. My time spent this past July on the heavenly Isle of Springs was creatively and spiritually nourishing. I can't even begin to express my experience with words so you will have to read my paintings instead.

Thank you Patty and Ian, xox.

Our most recent trip to the Cape landed us in Wellfleet at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. There are a multitude of trails here covering woods, salt marshes, freshwater ponds, the barrier beach and tidal flats. What a gem for the outdoor enthusiast/painter. I am off to Maine to visit a friend who owns an Island off of Booth Bay Harbor. I'll be sketching photographing and painting on site. Can't wait!
