The snow has now melted away here in RI into our annual late winter showers. The surrounding scenery is rather dull this time of year so I will reference some photographs to paint from and wait another few weeks for a spring palette to blossom. This painting is from last summer's trip to Maine's Isle of Springs. A place that blankets my soul with tranquility and entices and entwines my senses. A place which affords me the opportunity to truly and consciously live rather than just exist.
